Bobby Hill\u2019s ex Georgia Devlin has made her first public comment on her split from the\u00a0Collingwood\u00a0AFL<\/span>\u00a0star \u2013 after she was subjected to the worst kind of online trolling.<\/p>\n

Devlin uploaded a story to Instagram on Tuesday evening, showing the disgusting message a troll had sent her regarding the situation with Hill and their two sons.<\/p>\n

Hill has separated from Devlin, who is the mother of his two children. The Daily Mail understands she has taken the boys and is now living in\u00a0Perth<\/span>\u00a0while Hill remains in Melbourne.<\/p>\n

The troll\u2019s post \u2013 which the Daily Mail has chosen not to publish \u2013 criticised Devlin, a white woman, for having kids with an Aboriginal man, and blamed their split on the fact Hill is Indigenous.<\/p>\n

She lashed out at the troll in a furious message.<\/p>\n

\u2018Let\u2019s make one thing clear, my kids\u2019 nationality has never and will never be the cause of any issues in anyone\u2019s life. How dare someone speak on innocent kids this way. It\u2019s beyond disgusting,\u2019 Devlin wrote.<\/p>\n

Devlin shared an Instagram post on Tuesday, showing the disgusting message a troll had sent her regarding the situation with Hill and their sons. It was her first public comment on the split<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Hill has played in just one game since Round 15, with the club saying he has been dealing with \u2018personal issues\u2019, no doubt relating to his split from Devlin.<\/p>\n

While coach Craig McRae dismissed talk that Hill intended to travel to Adelaide for last Saturday night\u2019s match against the Crows, it later emerged that he had planned to join the trip, raising fresh concerns about the forward\u2019s wellbeing.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, McRae said his star is unlikely to play for the rest of the year as the split takes its toll.<\/p>\n

\u2018There\u2019s high performance and there\u2019s love and care, and I\u2019ve just sort of left the high performance for now and I\u2019m just making sure the young lad\u2019s OK,\u2019 McRae said.<\/p>\n

\u2018Time\u2019s running out in the season and maybe the high performance might be a bit far at the moment, but we\u2019ll just take that off the table for now.<\/p>\n

\u2018Hopefully he can get back in the club and be happy, and then we\u2019ll see where we go from there.\u2019<\/p>\n

McRae specifically asked Hill how he should answer inevitable questions about whether he will play again at AFL level this season.<\/p>\n

Hill recently posted about how much he\u2019s going to miss his boys, who are understood to be back living in Western Australia with Devlin<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u2018But he\u2019s well aware that time\u2019s running out for getting enough load and then to be available.<\/p>\n

\u2018I stepped straight back into love and care and said, \u201cNah, let\u2019s just get him right day by day\u201d.\u2019<\/p>\n

Hill\u2019s absence from the Collingwood team has been a huge talking point for the club\u2019s supporters and the game in general.<\/p>\n

Last month,\u00a0Daily Mail uncovered a trail of evidence that he and Devlin had gone their separate ways<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Hill removed nearly all photos of his partner and their two young sons from Instagram, which many fans interpreted as confirmation they had split.<\/p>\n

Devlin likewise deleted all images from her Instagram dating back to five months ago, while the young couple also unfollowed each other on the social media platform.<\/p>\n

On August 13, the Collingwood small forward, 25,\u00a0shared a throwback photo on Instagram with his two sons<\/span>, from a recent skiing trip in New Zealand.<\/p>\n

\u2018Gonna miss you guys. Dad loves yous,\u2019 he wrote alongside the image.<\/p>\n

Hill, a 2023 premiership-winner, is a loving father to his two boys and regularly brings them to Collingwood training and into the sheds after games.<\/p>\n

\u2018When the kids come to sing the song after a game it feels like a country footy game \u2013 the club say I can have the kids in with me whenever I can so it\u2019s good, it feels like a big family,\u2019 Hill said in May.<\/p>\n

The break-up with Devlin\u00a0has reportedly led to a rift in Hill\u2019s family<\/span>.<\/p>\n

St Kilda star Bradley Hill is Bobby\u2019s cousin and Wilson said he had reached out to try and help, which had created a division in the family ranks.<\/p>\n

\u2018Partly, I think, because Brad Hill attempted to perform some form of intervention, and actually reached out to the Collingwood Football Club, he was so worried about his cousin,\u2019 she said.<\/p>\n
