I was sitting in the waiting room for my first appointment with a new dentist. I noticed his BDS diploma on the wall, which bore his full name. Suddenly, I remembered a tall, handsome, dark-haired boy with the same name had been in my high school class some 30-odd years ago. Could he be the same guy that I had a secret crush on, way back then?<\/p>\n
Upon seeing him, however, I quickly discarded any such thought. This balding, gray-haired man with the deeply lined face was way too old to have been my classmate.<\/p>\n
After he examined my teeth, I asked him if he had attended St. Mary\u2019s High School.<\/p>\n
\u201cYes, yes, I did,\u201d he gleamed with pride.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen did you graduate?\u201d I asked.<\/p>\n
He answered, \u201cIn 1984. Why do you ask?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cYou were in my class!!!!\u201d I exclaimed.<\/p>\n
He looked at me closely. Then, that ugly, old, bald, wrinkled-faced, gray-haired, decrepit, son-of-a-bitch, asked, \u201cWhat did you teach???\u201d<\/p>\n

\nIt was a cold winter day.
\nAn old man walked out onto a frozen lake, cut a hole in the ice, dropped in his fishing line, and waited patiently for a bite.<\/p>\n
He was there for almost an hour, without even a nibble, when a young boy walked out onto the ice, cut a hole in the ice next to him. The young boy dropped his fishing line and minutes later he hooked a Largemouth Bass.<\/p>\n
The old man couldn\u2019t believe his eyes but chalked it up to plain luck. Shortly thereafter, the young boy pulled in another large catch. The young boy kept catching fish after fish.<\/p>\n
Finally, the old man couldn\u2019t take it any longer. \u201cSon\u201d he said, \u201cI\u2019ve been here for over an hour without even a nibble. You\u2019ve been here only a few minutes and have caught a half dozen fish! How do you do it?\u201d<\/p>\n
The boy responded, \u201cRoo raf roo reep ra rums rrarm.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat was that?\u201d the old man asked.<\/p>\n
Again the boy responded, \u201cRoo raf roo reep ra rums rarrm.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cLook,\u201d said the old man, \u201cI can\u2019t understand a word you\u2019re saying sonny.\u201d<\/p>\n
