During one of his shifts, a customer approached him and asked whether they had \u2018Peach Jam\u2019; he replied, \u201cOut of stock.\u201d<\/p>\n
At this, the lady immediately turned to leave the shop in disgust.<\/p>\n
It was then that the shopkeeper, who had been looking on, called Joe aside and told him, \u201cWhen a customer asks for a product that is out of stock, you apologize for its unavailability, and then offer other types of the same product. For instance, in this case, it was peach jam; offer other types of jam like pineapple jam, guava, apricot jam, and so on.\u201d<\/p>\n
Next, came in another lady who asked for toilet paper, and Joe politely replied, \u201cI am sorry, ma\u2019am, we do not have any toilet paper right now, but you could try some Carbon Paper or Sand Paper!\u201d<\/p>\n

\nTwo salesmen were going door to door, and knocked on the door of a woman who was not happy to see them.
\nShe told them in certain terms that she did not want to hear their offer and slammed the door in their faces.<\/p>\n
To her surprise, however, the door did not close and, in fact, bounced back open.<\/p>\n
She tried again, really put her back into it, and slammed the door again with the same result \u2014 the door bounced back open.<\/p>\n
Convinced, these rude people were sticking their foot in the door, she reared back to give it a slam that would teach them a lesson, when one of them said:<\/p>\n
\u201cMa\u2019am, before you do that again, you need to move your cat.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t be too hasty!\u201d he said. \u201cAt least wait until you\u2019ve seen my demonstration.\u201d<\/p>\n
And with that, he emptied a bucket of horse manure onto her hallway carpet.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf this vacuum cleaner doesn\u2019t remove all traces of this horse manure from your carpet, Madam, I will personally eat the remainder, cross my heart.\u201d<\/p>\n
